    haldex controler q`s

    hey all working out this awd conversion, ive been studying the haldex system just a q if anyone knows the wiring harness for the haldex is connected to anything other than the abs and the haldex diff itself?
    GT-28-VW three hundred and something days till get licence back , couldnt resist that corrolla needed to teach it a lesson

    Good luck, you have to get the proportioning valve and pump to function as well. But you may be better off just buying a mechanical haldex controller.

    There are also at least a K-wire for diagnostics and a "brakes on" signal as well (which is tapped into the rear brake lights harness).

    so basically what you are trying to make is an S3? 1.8L turbo with 4WD. Wasnt it easier just to get an S3 and crank the boost up?

    The car already puts out 230+ kw atw without internals, it'll be pushing alot more soon. Even if had bought an S3, it would take at least another 15k to get it anywhere near as close as his car is. He's doing the work himself as well so the cost is dramatically lower than if he'd paid someone for the job.
